I purchased this toy for my ex's son for Christmas. Wanted something he'd enjoy and would play with for several hours instead of discarding it into the bottom of the toy box =). He loved the toy & played with it all the time. I found out later from my ex she saw this same toy in a department store for $55 dollars, so I also got a great deal as well!

We got this last year for our son but didn't have a chance to write a review until now. The toy was poorly constructed and did not roll out smoothly. He really wanted to like it but it's too back that it did not work out well. This is a nice size toy, however. Now it's sitting on a shelf...he uses it from time to time for pretend-play since the mechanism really does not work. This would have been an excellent toy if the company works on perfecting the mechanics.

Seriously why would you want Transformers that look so "babyish" for lack of a better word. My friend's son is 7 and he feels he is too old for these and wants Transformer Universe toys instead. Support cool toys rather than these jokes.

I must admit that Optimus Prime is one of my big time favorite transformers of all time. This is a very awesome version and a lot of fun.
As usual Optimus prime remains a great and big time favorite,even to all those who like transformers too.
