Barely functional after his battle with Optimus Prime, Bonecrusher crawled away from the scene of his defeat and hid. Effecting what few repairs he could on his own, he also removed his locator beacon and communications hardware, cutting himself off entirely from the other surviving Decepticons. Fleeing south, farther and farther, he eventually found himself deep in the jungles of South America. Hidden in the most remote area on Earth, he is free to indulge his rage on the rainforest without interruption. Features spinning blades and robot mode. Measures 5.5" tall.

"What's with the Shortness and the Weakness!?!?" 2009-07-11

When i opened it the arm popped off and i tried to transform it, but i never got past rotating the legs. Now its really easy to do it now. He was hard to pose with the weird toes. Despite what some other people say, whenever the truck WITH THE ARM crashes, it just goes a few inches in one direction. He looks good with his arms folded up like a crazy Velociraptor. His blades look good except he can't hit an Autobot's knee like he did to Prime. Overall, he's a very good toy. I recommend it. Forget about the arm when you are transforming it.

"Two Thumbs Up From 4 Year Old - Mixed Reviews From Mom" 2009-01-20
By Kathleen R. Fitzpatrick (Clearwater, FL)
My son just loves this transformer. I am not sure if he just likes the way "Jungle Bonecrusher" rolls off the tongue or if it is just because this one rolls. Anyway, he loves playing with this toy and for that reason, it is worth a look.

What I do not like about this toy is that I find it fairly hard to transform (for a 4 year old, it is nearly impossible, but that doesn't stop him from trying". I find it annoying that pieces fall off or come off, because that just means pieces get lost, which makes for an unhappy child and a frantic mother! As another reviewer said, it doesn't stand up very well and it looks about a graceful as a garbage truck ballet.

But, since this transformer is in stock, not crazily overpriced like Bumblebee or Megatron, etc. and it is a Decepticon (hey, you need the bad guys to stage your transformer war), I would say go ahead and buy. just do yourself a favor and take all the pieces that come off or are removable, and put them in a box. It will save you some problems down the road.

"Well we had to have it" 2009-01-02

The new transformer toys feel really cheap compared to, yes, I'll admit it, the old ones I have from when I was a kid. However, my son is over the moon for Bone Crusher, so we had to have it.

It's a little tricky to transform, but we're getting the hang of it now. I mean he's getting the hang of it now. I would never play with his toys. Okay I do play with his transformers. Personally I like Star Scream the best I think its an awesome designed transformer. But Bone Crusher has its merits.

 "very unique transformer" 2008-10-15
By Rob in Jersey (NJ, USA)
Well I picked this one up because of the unique looking robot mode on the box. Same as the movie bonecrusher just a different,(in my opinion much nicer) color scheme. Nice quality too. This seems to be one of the more durable figures in the line, and the transformation is fairly simple. Only complaints are (as you can see in the picture) the arms are longer then the entire body, and the legs are ridiculously short, which doesn't affect the posability or standability at all, just looks kinda awkward. also the figure is a bit shorter than most in the line( due mostly due to the extremely short legs. Alittle on the small side in vehichle mode as well which is weird considering it's supposed to be a heavy construction vehichle. the vehichles arm pops off to quite a bit, snaps right back on, but alittle annoying. Overall these are minor complaints, and this is a quality, durable, unique figure.

 "It seems flimsy" 2008-08-25

It seems very flimsy and not worth the money but the test will be when a 5 year old plays with it.
